Josh lived his life fairly care free rom 1988 to 2011… The year I graduated from college went from that of I’m finally from education to holy cow, I am 110% accountable for every breath I take. I don’t want to attribute my father’s passing in 2021 to this post, but I feel it has helped me express deeper thoughts and feelings I have held for some time.
In 2010 my kid sister was 11 years old and my brother was 17 and a junior in high school. Fast-forward, it is now 2021, my sister is graduating with a bachelor’s degree and my brother is well into a Phd. I cannot fathom the 11 years that have gone by faster than Doc Brown and his De Lorean.
I sincerely hope the readers caught my Back To The Future reference. I have been watching it lately to avoid, other “on trend” TV. I continuously gravitate to shows showing more values of moral and character.
To keep from getting too wild, let’s get back to siblings. The most fulfilling, yet challenging relationship you shall ever encounter. Especially, when you are a reserved specimen as myself. To those that are unaware, the middle child will do things you thought were semi plausible, yet unneeded… The youngest though, will do everything you and the middle child did with such an ease that you will think they are bored with life… She has a few degrees left, but the ease she showed in accomplishing the first, leveled me in my tenure of class of 2011. I don’t want to say a bachelor’s degree was easier for her; she sure made it seem like child’s play.
I cannot wait to experience what my siblings accomplish in the future because I know the three of us have our minds to the future.
